The US Military Strategy: Strategy of Rapid Deployment, Preemptive Action, Space, Missile Defense

The purpose of this article is to analyze systematically the US military strategy. Its focal points will be directed at strengthening rapid deployment, preemptive action, space armament, and missile defense. Strengthening the rapid deployment is intended to raise military power capability throughout information, high-tech, and movement. A plan of preemptive action carries implications of US preemptive attack against powers threaten the security of the US and its alliances. The space armament is to be firm on the US military superiority by means of space militarization ad armament. In addition, a plan of missile defense is to deploy missile defense from land and sea, as well as lasers in space to guard against attack and blackmail. Although the US keeps the strongest military power throughout its military strategy, it may hold an unstable dominant power position, it may damage confidences among nations in case it drives forward without premise of cooperation and information exchange, as well as confidence building. Therefore, the US will promote the military strategy through harmony, cooperation, and trust. Its direction should not be advanced to damage world security and order, but go the way to maintain real peace and stability.
