본 연구는 대학생 학습자들의 표현 욕구를 발현하게 할 목적으로 수필문학 교육을 활용한 사례이다. 수필문학 활용은 자기 고백적 속성과 자유로운 형식으로 누구에게나 쉽게 다가갈 수 있는 수필의 장르적 특성에 근거한다. 수필문학 교육과 쓰기 지도를 위해 먼저 학습자들에게 실제 작품을 예로 들면서 그 특성을 이해시켰다. 다음으로 교수자가 설명한 특성을 가진 수필작품을 학습자 스스로 찾아서 읽으며 그 의미를 파악하고 분석하여 모방적 쓰기를 하게 했다. 본 연구에서 수행한 수필문학 교육과 글쓰기 지도로 학습자들은 다양한 수필을 접하며 그 특성을 배웠고 이를 매개로 자신의 생각과 감정, 경험 등을 표현하는 방법을 터득할 수 있었다.
This study is an example of utilizing essay literature education for the purpose of manifesting the expressive desires of college student learners., In order to teach essay literature education and writing instruction, the learners were first made to understand the characteristics of the essay works by taking the actual works as an example, and then the learners were made to write imitatively by identifying and analyzing the meanings of the essay works with the characteristics explained by the instructor., Through the essay literature education and writing instruction conducted in this study, learners were able to learn the characteristics of various essays and learn how to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through this.
