직업 훈련기관 유형이 청년 일자리 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The Comparison of the Effect of Public and Private Vocational Training Institutions on Youth Job Satisfaction

본 연구는 직업 훈련의 효과성을 훈련기관의 유형별로 규명하고, 훈련기관의 유형이 청년들의 일자리 만족도에 미치는 영향을 밝혀내는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국고용정보원에서 제공하는 청년패널조사 2007년부터 2016년까지의 자료를 사용하여 직업훈련기관 유형과 직업훈련 참여자의 일자리 만족도의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 공공훈련기관에서 직업훈련교육을 받은 청년들은 민간훈련기관에서 교육을 받은 청년보다 전체적인 일자리 만족도 및 업무 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 직업교육훈련의 민간위탁이 확대되는 추세 속에서, 단기적 시각에서 취업유무를 목적으로 직업훈련사업을 운영하는 것보다 더 장기적인 관점을 바탕으로 훈련서비스의 전달체계 개편에 관한 고민이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of vocational training by the types of training institutions and to investigate the effect of training institutions on young people's job satisfaction by the types. For this purpose, researchers analyzed the relationship between the types of vocational training institutions and the job satisfaction of young vocational training participants using youth panel survey data from 2007 to 2016 provided by the Korea Employment Information Service. The results showed that young people who received vocational training in public training institutions had higher overall satisfaction in their current workplaces and job satisfaction than those who received training in private training institutions. In conclusion, with the tendency of private entrustment of vocational education and training, it is necessary to have a perspective of long-term performance and reform the delivery system of training services rather than focus on the program's short-term employment outputs.
