Study on the Development of Family Life Education Programs for Minor Children in Dual-Income Households

This study aims to develop a family life education program to address various issues arising from the care gap caused by the increase in dual-income households. Unlike previous research that focused on the marital relationship of dual-income households, this study aims to develop a family life education program targeting the minor children of dual-income households, to promote their smooth development and growth. The ADDIE method was utilized for the development of the family life education program, and a total of four sessions were developed. Each session aimed to help minor children understand and find solutions to the problems faced by dual-income households. The first session focused on enhancing family relationships and emotional care, the second on prevention of safety issues and behavioral tips, the third on culinary practices to address nutritional imbalances, and the fourth on time and economic resource management. Further discussions were held on the evaluation methods and implementation plans for the actual execution of the family life education program.
