Effects of Happiness and Happiness Growth on Job Satisfaction and Self-Efficacy of Workers with Physical Disabilities

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 지체장애가 있는 근로자를 대상으로 행복과 행복성장이 직무만족, 자기효능감에미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이었다. 연구방법: 이 연구의 대상은 장애인 고용패널 2차 웨이브 1차에서 6차 연도까지 1년 간격으로 수집된 자료에서추출된 808명의 지체장애인 근로자였다. 지체장애인 근로자의 행복과 행복성장은 무조건부 잠재성장모형을 사용하여 분석되었다. 행복과 행복성장의 직무만족, 자기효능감에 미치는 효과는 조건부 잠재성장모형을 사용하여 분석되었다. 연구결과: 이 연구의 주요한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체장애인 근로자의 행복(초기값)이 높을수록, 행복성장(변화율)이 클수록 직무만족 수준이 높았다. 둘째, 지체장애인 근로자의 행복(초기값)이 높을수록, 행복성장(변화율)이 클수록 자기효능감 수준이 높았다. 결론: 이 연구의 결과는 지체장애인 근로자의 행복(초기값)과 행복성장(변화율)이 지체장애인 근로자의 삶의 성과들 즉 직무만족, 자기효능감에 이득이 된다는 것을 보여주었다.

Purpose: This study examined the effects of happiness and happiness growth on job satisfaction and self-efficacy of workers with physical disabilities. Method: The participants of this study were 808 workers with physical disabilities. The data of this study came from the 1st to 6th waves in PSED (the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled 2nd Wave). Happiness and happiness growth of workers with physical disabilities were analyzed using unconditional latent growth curve modeling. The Effects of happiness and happiness growth on job satisfaction and self-efficacy were analyzed using conditional latent growth curve modeling. Results: The findings of this study were as follows. First, higher level of happiness and happiness growth exhibited higher level of job satisfaction. Second, higher level of happiness and happiness growth showed higher level of self-efficacy. Conclusion: The results of this study suggested that a higher level of happiness and happiness growth was beneficial to outcomes of life (i.e. job satisfaction and self-efficacy).
