국내 창업기업의 ESG 경영에 관한 연구 동향

Trends in ESG Management of Korean Start-up Companies

본 연구는 창업기업 및 중소기업의 기업가치 평가 방식이 기술 및 아이디어 중심에서 환경친화적인 접근으로 전환되는 최근의 동향을 선행논문을 통해 조명한다. 이러한 변화는 특히 지속 가능한 경영을 목표로 하는 ESG(환경, 사회, 지배구조) 경영전략의 중요성이 증가하면서 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 선진국을 중심으로 ESG 경영전략에 대한 다양한 정책 개발과 국내 학문적 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있으며, 정부 차원에서도 창업기업의 지원 정책과 투자 환경에서 ESG 경영의 의무화를 추진하는 추세이다. 이러한 배경하에, 본 연구는 국내 창업기업의 ESG 경영에 관한 연구 동향을 통하여, 창업기업 ESG 경영 패러다임 변화가 창업기업에 미치는 영향과 이에 따른 향후 연구 방향 및 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

This study sheds light on the recent trend of changing the corporate value evaluation method of start-up companies and SMEs from technology and ideas to an environmentally friendly approach through prior papers. This change is particularly noticeable as the importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management strategies aimed at sustainable management is increasing. Various policies and domestic academic research on ESG management strategies are being actively conducted mainly in developed countries, and the government is also pushing for mandatory ESG management in the support policy and investment environment for start-up companies. Against this background, this study aims to present the impact of changes in the ESG management paradigm of start-ups on start-ups and their future research directions and implications through research trends on ESG management of domestic start-ups.
