알모도바르의 영화 <줄리에타>의 클로즈업 쇼트 분석에 대한 연구

An Analysis of the Close-up Short Effect and Narration of Almodovar’s Film <Julietta>

본 연구는 알모도바르의 영화 <줄리에타>의 클로즈업 쇼트와 내레이션을 중 심으로 분석한다. 클로즈업은 독특한 영상 화법 중 하나로 <줄리에타>에서 알모 도바르의 적극적 표현수단으로 활용되었다고 파악되기 때문이다. 클로즈업 쇼트 분석을 구체적으로 논의하기 위하여 <줄리에타>의 주요 클로 즈업 쇼트를 서술적 기능, 심리적 기능, 상징적 기능으로 분리하여 내러티브 서사 에서 발휘하는 쇼트의 효과와 결론을 제시한다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 알모도바르 의 영화 <줄리에타>의 서사 전개가 능동적 관람자의 활동과 상호작용하는 내러 티브 영화로서의 기능을 파악한다. 본 연구를 시작으로 다양한 장르별 영화가 쇼 트와 내레이션의 분석에 대하여 깊이 있는 후속연구가 이어지길 기대한다.

This study analyzes the effects of close-up shots, expressed in Almodovar’s film <Julietta>. The method of using close-up is one of Almodovar’s unique video narratives, which is understood as a means of active expression. To discuss the close-up shot analysis in detail, main close-up shots in <Julietta> are distinguished into descriptive, psychological, and symbolic functions which presents the effect and conclusion of the shot in the narratives. Through descriptive close-up, the role of inducing the naturalness of narratives flow and concentrating the audience’s attention is analyzed. The psychological close-up is analyzed as a role that allows the audience to empathize with the character through the descriptions of psychological close-up. In addition, a close-up of symbolic elements of objects or characters is analyzed to maximize tension and induce immersion. It will be the good opportunity to see the effect of a close-up shot that has an important part of the narratives in Almodovar’s film <Julietta>.
