바흐찐의 언어철학을 통한 방탄소년단(BTS)의 문화적 특성 연구

A Study on the Cultural Characteristics of BTS through Bakhtin's Language Philosophy

본 연구는 미하일 바흐찐의 언어철학을 통해 BTS 현상을 이해하고 해석하고자 했다. BTS라는 유명 아이돌에 대한 논의에 있어서 BTS 현상이라는 표현을 사용한 것은 BTS의 성공이 그들의 노력 혹은 음악성에 한정되어 있지 않기 때문이다. BTS는 분명 뛰어난 음악성을 보유하고 있다. 그러나 이것은 성공을 위한 기본값이다. 다만 BTS만이 보여주는 독특성을 설명하기 위해 현상이라는 표현을 사용했다. 이 현상의 특징은 BTS와 ARMY라는 독특한 관계성을 내포하고 있다. 유명 아이돌은 모두 팬덤을 보유하고 있다. 그러나 BTS의 팬덤인 아미는 그들만의 독특한 관계성을 보유하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 대화적 관계성으로 정의했다. 또한 BTS의 음악적 메시지가 어떻게 아미라는 독특한 팬덤을 형성하게 만들었는지에 대해서도 논의하였다. 본 연구에서는 이를 주체적 보편성이라 개념화했다. 이 독특성의 특징은 바흐찐의 대화주의 언어철학에 강력하게 드러난다. 그렇기에 본 연구에서는 바흐찐의 대화주의 언어철학을 통해 BTS 현상을 밝혔다. 또한 BTS 현상에 나타난 대화적 공동체 모델을 통해 한국 교회의 나아갈 방향에 대해 제시했다. 그것은 대화적 공동체로서의 교회로, 이는 신학적이거나 교리적인 문제에 대한 논의가 아니다. 이는 사회학적 논의로 다음 세대 특히 청년 세대들이 느끼는 교회의 이미지를 변경하고 세대 확장을 위한 방법을 제시했다.

This study tried to understand and interpret the BTS phenomenon through Mikhail Bakhtin's linguistic philosophy. The reason why the expression BTS phenomenon is used in the discussion of famous idols is that the success of BTS is not limited to their efforts or musicality. BTS clearly has excellent musicality. However, this is the default for success. However, the expression “phenomena” was used to explain the uniqueness of BTS. A characteristic of this phenomenon is the unique relationship between BTS and ARMY. All famous idols have a fandom. However, BTS' fandom, ARMY, has their own unique relationship. In this study, this was defined as a dialogical relationship. It also discussed how BTS' musical message created a unique fandom called ARMY. In this study, this is conceptualized as subjective universality. Characteristics of these gains are strongly manifested in Bakhtin's dialogoism linguistic philosophy. Therefore, in this study, the BTS phenomenon was revealed through Bakhtin's dialogoism linguistic philosophy. In addition, through the dialogical community model that appeared in the BTS phenomenon, the direction of the Korean church was presented. It is the church as a dialogical community, not a discussion of theological or doctrinal issues. This is a sociological discussion, which changed the image of the church felt by the next generation, especially the young generation, and suggested a method for generational expansion.
