A study on theatre and theatre culture in Keijyo(Seoul) during the 1910's

This thesis includes : Keijyo(seoul) where was divided into Joseon town and Japan town, was built theaters and was transplanted from Japan Show business. I searched a influx Japan city culture through city parks and houses of ill fame. Especially the 1910's Keijyo(seoul) map confirmed the location of the theaters during the Japanese Ruling era, which were misunderstood or not became known. This is a worthy achievement of this thesis. In 1910's Joseon Show business was influenced by Japan Show business directly. Japanese who moved to Joseon during the invading Joseon took the lead to influence Joseon Show business. Japan Show business had a long tradition. Promoters who moved to Joseon built theaters and started Show business. In the process of invading Joseon, Japan Show business was a standard of Joseon Show business. It signifies the ideology production system which rested on Japanese imperialism interests constructed through Japanese theaters. This is a important fact to understand Joseon film.
