A Study on the Script Acting in Education of Drama

In the drama acting, it has been recognized that the script analysis is very important. However, until recently, the director or producer has analyzed and understand the script or scenario of drama and directed to the actor. Actor is not only a player but also creator and artist. Therefore, it is important to understand the script acting for actors. In this paper, the methods of script acting are analyzed and some suggestions for script acting education are provided. First of all, the actor should understand the writers intention by analyzing the script before acting, because it is very important to catch the writer's signal which is inherent in the script. Next, it is necessary to recognize the goal of the scene. The each scene reveals the writers goal of the work of movie and drama. Finally, the director emphasizes to the actor about the importance of script acting and let the actors have enough time to analyze the script before acting.
