발달장애인의 직업적 능력 수준과 고용서비스 이용경험 정도가 취업에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Vocational Ability and Experience of Using Employment Service of Persons with Developmental Disabilities on Employment

연구결과 첫째, 통제변수로 투입된 일반적 특성에서는 성별, 연령, 최종학력, 가족지지가 취업에 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 기초생활보장여부에서는 부적인 결과로 나타났다. 둘째, 독립변수로 투입된 직업적 능력수준과 고용서비스 이용경험 정도에서는 직업적 능력을 보유한 사람이 그렇지 못한 사람에 비해 취업가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 단순근로 이상의 수행가능여부가 높을수록 취업의 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 고용서비스 이용경험정도에서는 고용서비스 이용경험이 많을수록 취업가능성이 높게 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 발달장애인의 취업 가능성을 높이기 위한 정책적·실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

Study results show first, in the general characteristics which were put as control variables, gender, age, level of education and family support exerted a positive effect on employment, whereas the variables had a negative influence on the guaranty of basic living. Second, with respect to the level of vocational ability and degree of the experience of using employment which were put as independent variables, results show that persons with vocational ability had higher possibility of employment as compared with those who are not, and the higher the possibility to perform simple labor or above, the higher the possibility of employment. In regards to the degree of the experience of using employment service, persons with more experience of using employment service showed higher possibility of employment. Based on the results mentioned above, this study suggested political·practical implications to raise possibility of employment for persons with developmental disabilities.
