A study on the movie activities of the Japanese Chosen Army press section

In this thesis, I look around the establishment of the Japanese Chosen Army press section under the war basis, the progress and the movie activities of the press section. The Japanese Chosen Army newspapre corps, the predecessor of the press corps, was established in 1937 after the outbreak of Sino-Japanese War. At that time, the war started to exercise its influence over Chosen. Battle of Lake Khasan, a border dispute with the Soviet Union, breaked out July in 1933. Chosen became more important in Japan's war of aggression. Before and after Battle of Lake Khasan, the Japanese Chosen Army newspapre corps became to the Japanese Chosen Army press corps, and then turned out the Japanese Chosen Army press section. The Japanese Chosen Army press section changed its role in connection with Chosen's role under Japan's war of aggression. If so, What is the role of Chosen in Japan's war of aggression? Japan needed people and capital for an aggressive war. So Japan stress the need of national defense to Chosen people. For this, the Japanese Chosen Army press section strengthened the propaganda activity. Thus the Japanese Chosen Army press section had a strong influence on Chosen's film production.
