A Study on the North Korean Cinema in the North Korean Socialism Formation Period (1958～1966)

At that time, the art film(film play) and the documentary film, the science film, the child film, and the educational film, etc. variously produced the movie in North Korea. Especially, the specific gravity of the art film was strengthened more. The general public's of the people fight experiences were drawn in full scale through various turning points like 'the film of reality material' and 'the film of anti-Japan revolution material' and 'the film of Korean War material' and 'the film of country union material' and 'the film of chronicle material', etc. On the other hand, the North Korean movie presented an affirmative character, an exemplary case, and a typical appearance at that time. And, the person was shown through a movie leap, content, provision, and the emphasis, etc. Moreover, the conflict, the rhythm, and the tempo were adjusted and dramatic atmosphere was made. And, a North Korean socialist movie in that time to combine a nationalism form was created to a socialistic content about the movie style like the scene, taking a picture, the edit, and the sound, etc.
