This study is about Statistical film style analysis on Ming-liang Tsai's seven films. based on Barry Salt's method and Warren Buckland's contributions, it covers his films on Average Shot Length, Scale of Shot distribution, Reverse Angle Cutting rate, camera movement distribution as the key analysis Factors for film style analysis. Ming-liang Tsai uses extensively Long shot and Fixed camera. Could we say that Fixed camera is his own faculty? Or Fixed camera is the common camera movement in movies? With his elaborated shooting and editing method, he shows us small form of action.
