Gang-Ho's testimony, written in 1962 and rooted in social realism, expresses a particular point of view about the method of film directing of Na Un-Gyu, especially one that the ideology of the North Korea agrees with. In this pont of view, the method of film directing of Na Un-Gyu has important historical value in the film history of north Korea, for the cinema of Na Un-Gyu, identified as critical realism, is determined as a pioneer of social realism in the tradition of revolution art. Nonetheless, Gang-Ho's testimony reveal divers difficult points in its logicality, that is, paramnesia, mistake of fact, etc, but at once the creativity of memory and history.
