부모가 인식한 가족상호작용과 자녀에 대한 미래기대가 만5세 유아의 언어 및 인지발달에 미치는 영향

Influence of Family Interaction and Future Expectation on 5-year-old Children’s Language and Cognitive Development

본 연구는 부모가 인식한 가족상호작용과 자녀에 대한 미래기대가 유아의 언어 및 인지발달에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구대상은 한국아동패널 6차년도 자료인 만5세 유아 1184명과 그들의 아버지와 어머니였다. 연구 결과 아버지가 인식한 가족상호작용은 자녀에 대한 미래 기대의 하위요인 중 ‘이타심’과 ‘행복한 가정’과 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 유아의 언어발달은 아버지의 자녀에 대한 미래기대 중 ‘금전’, 유아의 인지발달은 아버지의 자녀에 대한 미래기대 중 ‘사회적 지위’와 부적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 어머니가 인식한 가족상호작용은 자녀에 대한 미래 기대의 하위요인 중 ‘이타심’과 ‘행복한 가정’, 그리고 ‘여가’와 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 더불어 부모가 인식한 가족상호작용과 자녀에 대한 미래기대가 유아의 언어 및 인지발달에 미치는 영향에서는 아버지의 자녀에 대한 미래기대 중 ‘금전’이 유아의 언어발달에 영향을 미쳤고, 아버지의 자녀에 대한 미래기대 중 ‘사회적 지위’와 ‘이타심’이 유아의 인지발달에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구결과는 아버지의 자녀발달에 대한 역할을 기대할 뿐만 아니라 자녀에게 아버지가 심리적지원체계로서의 역할이 중요함을 인식하게 한다.

This study was investigated the relationship among family interaction, future expectation for children and language and cognitive development of five years children. The sixth child study panel data 1184 5-year-old children were with their fathers and mothers was used. According to the result, there were significant relationships among father recognized family interactions, future expectations for the children, and language and cognitive development of children. Also it showed that positive relationships between mother recognized family interaction and future expectation for the children. In addition, the ‘cash’ sub factor of father’s expectation for children impacted on language development of 5-year-old children and 'social status' and 'altruism' sub factor of father’s expectation for children impacted on cognitive development of 5-year-old children. These findings should recognize the important role as father to their children, as well as psychological support systems expect the role of the father of the child's development.
