생성형 인공지능을 활용한 특수외국어 학습 방안 연구

Research on Using Generative AI to Learn Critical Foreign Language: Focusing on ChatGPT and the Hungarian Language

본 연구는 특수외국어 교육과 학습을 위해 ChatGPT와 같은 생성형 인공지능의 적용 방안을 탐구하고자 했다. 글로벌 시대에 접어들며 특수외국어의 중요성은 더욱 대두되고 있으나, 그 다양성과 복잡성으로 인해 학습자가 참여할 수 있는 교육 환경의 조성은 상당 수준 제한되어왔다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 본 연구는 기존의 외국어 교육에서 활용되었던 PPP와 TTT 등의 교육 모형을 바탕으로 학습자가 인공지능을 활용함으로써 스스로 외국어 학습 계획을 수립하고 자료의 생성과 과업의 설정 및 평가, 4개 영역(읽기, 쓰기, 듣기, 말하기)의 순환 실습 등을 진행할 수 있는 새로운 모형인 PPTC(Planning - Presentation - Task - Circulation)를 제시했다. 각 단계별로 학습 경험과 활용법 등을 논의했으며, 나아가 이를 바탕으로 인공지능의 결과물과 기 개발된 자료를 비교해본다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 특수외국어 학습의 효율성을 제고하고 국내 특수외국어 교육 환경의 발전에 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.

This study aims to explore the application of generative artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT for teaching and learning special language. Critical Foreign Language(CFL) have become more important as we enter the global era, but their diversity and complexity have significantly limited the creation of an educational environment in which all citizens can participate. In order to overcome these limitations, this study proposed a new model, PPTC (Planning - Presentation - Task - Circulation), based on educational models such as PPP and TTT that have been utilized in existing foreign language education, in which learners can make their own foreign language learning plans, create materials, set and evaluate tasks, and practice circulation in four areas(reading, writing, listening, and speaking) by utilizing artificial intelligence. We discussed the learning experience and utilization of each step, and furthermore, we compared the results of AI and existing materials. Through these findings, we hope to improve the efficiency of CFL learning and contribute to the development of the domestic CFL education environment.
