Objective: The purpose of the study is to examine whether adolescents’ delinquent behaviors are associated with the experience of victimization, and to examine the moderating effect of acculturative stress for multicultural adolescents. Methods: This study used data from the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS), an ongoing nationally representative longitudinal survey. Descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation was used, and logistic regression analysis was used to examine the main effects and moderation effect. Results: The logistic analysis shows that delinquency behaviors were associated with later delinquent behaviors, and adolescents who had been bullied were more likely to be a victim later. For female adolescents, delinquent adolescents were likely to be victimized later. Acculturative stress moderated the association between delinquent behaviors and later victimization probability. Conclusions: Implications for protection and intervention programs are discussed.
