A Study on the Change in Trade Network and RCEP’s Rules of Origin for the Fisheries Product in Jeju Island

The purpose of this study was to examine the rules of origin for FTA and RCEP signed by the Korean government, and the issues of the wholly and partially obtained and the application of Product Specific Rules of Origin. Moreover, it attempted to provide suggestions for marine products produced in Jeju Island and the products that can be prospectively developed as the main export products according to the RCEP’s rules of origin. In addition, it aimed to understand how the trade network and Global Value chains(GVC) are affected, as the existing Regional Trade Agreement(RTA) is changed into the MEGA-FTA.
