基于功能对等理论的航海技术英语翻译研究

Research on English Translation of Maritime Technology Based on Functional Equivalence Theory

随着经济全球化的不断深入，航海技术对于对外经济发展的重要性日益凸显，航海技术英语也成为培养高素质人才的有效手段。作为科技英语的一部分，航海技术英语具有鲜明的特点：在词汇层面多用术语、多采用名词化结构和缩略词等；在句法层面多用无灵主语句、被动句和长难句等。本文以尤金·奈达的功能对等理论为视角，从词汇、句法两个方面对航海技术英语翻译进行研究，旨在为航海技术英语汉译提供借鉴。

With the deepening of economic globalization, maritime technology has become increasingly prominent, and maritime technology English has also become an effective way for cultivating high-quality talents. As a part of technical English, maritime technology English has distinctive characteristics: terminologies, nominalizations and abbreviations are widely used at the vocabulary level and inanimate-subject sentences, passive sentences and long complex sentences are more used at the syntactic level. From the perspective of Eugene·A·Nida’s functional equivalence, this article studies the E-C translation of maritime technology English from vocabulary and syntax level, aiming to provide reference for the Chinese translation of maritime technology English.
