포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통한 유아교육과정 운영 자기평가도구 개발 방향 탐색

An Exploratory Study on The Direction of Developing A Self-evaluation Tool for Early Childhood Education Curriculum Operation through Focus Group Interviews

목적 본 연구는 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통해 유아교육과정 운영 자기평가도구의 개발 방향을 탐색하고 평가준거를 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 문헌연구와 빅데이터 분석 결과를 바탕으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 면담지를 구성하고 유아교육 전문가(교수), 유아교육 현장전문가(원장), 유아교육 현장전문가(교사)로 구성된 6명의 참여자를 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 Glaser와 Strauss의 개방코딩과 지속적 비교 분석 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과, 유아교육과정 운영 자기평가도구는 강점기반 평가적 접근에 근거한 유아교육과정 운영 자기평가도구로 개발될 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 평가준거는 국가수준 유아교육과정 기관평가에서 나타난 다양한 평가영역에 대한 공통요소를 추출하여 유아교육과정 운영의 질 관리를 위한 필수적인 내용만을 다룸으로써 최소한의 평가준거를 마련할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 강점기반 평가적 접근에 근거한 유아교육과정 운영 자기평가도구 개발의 필요성과 기대효과를 확인할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 연구자 강점기반 평가적 접근에 근거한 유아교육과정 운영 자기평가도구 개발의 방향성에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of development of a self-evaluation tool for early childhood education curriculum operation and establish evaluation criteria through focus group interviews. Methods For this purpose, a focus group interview questionnaire was created based on the results of literature research and big data analysis, and focus group interviews were conducted with six participants consisting of an early childhood education expert (professor), an early childhood education field expert (director), and an early childhood education field expert (teacher). The collected data was analyzed using open coding and constant comparison analysis methods created by Glaser and Strauss. Results The results of this study were as follows: It was found that the self-evaluation tool for early childhood curriculum operation needs to be developed as a self-evaluation tool for early childhood curriculum operation based on a strengths-based evaluative approach. In addition, it was found that there was a need to establish a minimum evaluation standard by extracting common elements for various evaluation areas shown in the national-level early childhood education curriculum institutional evaluation and covering only essential contents for quality management of early childhood education curriculum operation. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, it was possible to confirm not only the necessity and expected effects of developing a self-evaluation tool for early childhood curriculum operation based on a strengths-based evaluative approach but also the direction of development of a self-evaluation tool for early childhood curriculum operation based on a strengths-based evaluative approach.
