In this study, we aim to provide a vestibular-proprioceptive activity program to children suspected of having developmental delay and find out how it affects children's sensory processing. This study is a case study design. The subject of the study was a 5-year-old boy referred by his guardian due to suspected developmental delay. He had difficulty in sensory processing; therefore, he underwent a vestibularproprioceptive activity program. In order to confirm the effect of the intervention, sensory processing and integration were evaluated using a sensory profile before and after the activity program, and a method of comparing values through visual analysis was applied to the subject’s pre- and post-assessment results. In the pre-intervention evaluation, tactile sensitivity, taste/smell sensitivity, and under-responsive seek sensation were all found to show normal performance. In the post-intervention evaluation, similar findings were reported. The lack of vitality and weakness (low energy/weak) were found to show clear differences in both the pre- and post-intervention evaluations. However, there was a clear difference in movement sensitivity in the pre-intervention evaluation, but the post-intervention evaluation showed improvement in general performance. The visual/auditory sensitivity also showed a questionable difference in the pre-intervention evaluation, but the post-intervention evaluation showed improvement in normal performance. When the vestibular-proprietary activity program was applied to children, the effect of improving the movement, visual, and hearing sensitivity was confirmed.
