노인의 사회활동참여와 자아통합감의 관계에서 생성감의 매개효과

The relationship between the elderly's participation in social activities and self-integration mediating effect of productivity

본 연구는 노인의 자아통합감을 향상시키는 방안을 모색하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 노인의 사회활동참여와 자아통합감간의 간계를 살펴보고, 생성감이 두 변인의 관계에서 어떠한 매개효과를 가지는지 검증하였다. 본연구는 부산에 거주하는 65세 이상 노인 218명의 설문자료를 SPSS 28.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 연구문제를 분석하였다. 분석은 빈도분석, 탐색적요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고, 매개효과 검증을 위해서 Sobel test 검증 방법을 적용하였다. 본연구의 주요 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 사회활동참여는 자아통합감에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 노인의 사회활동참여는 생성감에 정적(+)영향을 미치고, 생성감은 자아통합감간에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 생성감은 노인의 사회활동참여와 자아통합감을 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었으며, Sobel test에서도 유의한 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 노인의 자아통합감을 증진시키기 위한 사회복지적 개입방안을 제시하였다.

This study was conducted to find ways to improve the elderly's sense of self-integration. To this end, the relationship between the elderly's participation in social activities and their sense of self-integration was examined, and what mediating effect productivity has in the relationship between the two variables was verified. This study analyzed the research problems using the SPSS 28.0 statistical program on the survey data of 218 senior citizens aged 65 or older living in Busan. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed for the analysis, and Sobel test verification method was applied to verify the mediating effect. The main analysis results of this study are summarized as follows. First, it was confirmed that the elderly's participation in social activities had a positive (+) effect on their sense of self-integration. Second, it was confirmed that the elderly's participation in social activities had a positive (+) effect on productivity, and that production had a positive (+) effect on self-integration. Third, it was confirmed that generation has a mediating effect on the elderly's participation in social activities and self-integration, and it was also verified to be significant in the Sobel test. Based on these findings, a social welfare intervention plan was proposed to improve the elderly's sense of self-integration.
