Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to summarize and explore the health management model and health management strategies for knee osteoarthritis in the Chinese community in the context of the high prevalence and disability rate of knee osteoarthritis as a common chronic degenerative disease of the musculoskeletal system. Design/Methodology/Approach – Based on literature research, search for relevant literature in Chinese and English databases. The search time range was between February 2009 and February 2024. Findings – This paper studies there are problems in China’s KOA community health management such as low patient health literacy, insufficient medical diagnosis and treatment, and lack of policy standards and guidelines. The hierarchical, hierarchical, multidisciplinary, and comprehensive health management model is still the mainstream development trend. Traditional Chinese medicine intervention and the use of network informatization also play an important role in KOA community health management; health education, weight management and exercise therapy are the focus of the Chinese community knee osteoarthritis health management strategy. Research Implications – In the management of this paper, this article hopes to provide a more optimized strategy for the management of knee osteoarthritis in domestic communities and further improve The patient’s diagnosis and treatment effect and prognosis level.
