문화예술을 매개로 한 도시재생에 미치는 영향요인

Factors influencing urban regeneration through culture and arts: government support for creative spaces and fairness in arts support, and sharing of knowledge and information by artists: focusing on creative spaces in Seoul

서울시가 창작공간을 설립하고 예술가들에게 작업실을 위한 공간지원을 한 것은 예술가들의 창작활동을 증진시켜 문화예술진흥 제고하고자 한 것이며, 동시에 예술가들의 집합적인 창작활동을 통해 쇠락한 도시를 재생하는 목표를 달성하고자 한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 서울시 창작공간 예술가들을 대상으로 정부의 창작활동을 위한 공간지원과 예술지원의 공정성, 예술가의 지식정보공유가 문화예술을 매개로 한 도시재생에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 연구 방법으로 예술가들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했고 구조방정식 분석을 통해 인과분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 정부의 공간지원, 예술지원의 공정성은 창작공간을 통한 도시재생에 간접적으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 예술가의 지식정보공유는 도시재생에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 정부의 예술가들에 대한 단기적인 공간 지원으로는 문화예술을 매개로 한 도시재생에 영향을 주지 못한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나 예술가들의 지식정보공유는 도시재생에 긍정적 역할을 한다는 점을 밝힐 수 있었다.

The city of Seoul established a creative space and provided artists with space for their studios in an attempt to contribute to the promotion of culture and arts by promoting the creative activities of artists. It also sought to achieve the goal of regenerating a decaying city through the collective creative activities of artists. In this study, we empirically analyzed the impact of the government's space support for creative activities, fairness of art support, and artists' knowledge and information sharing on urban regeneration through culture and arts targeting artists in creative spaces in Seoul. As a research method, a survey was conducted targeting artists, and causal analysis was conducted through structural equation analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the government's spatial support and fairness in art support indirectly affected urban regeneration through creative spaces, and that artists' knowledge and information sharing most strongly and directly had a positive effect on urban regeneration. In this way, the result of support for creative space was contrary to prediction, as it was revealed that the government's short-term space support for artists did not have an effect on spontaneity, which is an important factor in urban regeneration through culture and arts. As a result, it was revealed that efforts should be made to promote knowledge and information sharing among artists for the creative activities of artists selected for the creative space.
