대학 교육의 AI 활용 가능성 탐색

Exploring the feasibility of using AI in college major education: Focus on the course <Classical Korean Literary Criticism> in the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Dankook University

이 글은 디지털 중심 시대를 맞이하여 단국대학교 <고전비평론> 교과목 운영 사례를 중심으로 AI 기반 대학 교육의 가능성을 탐색하고 미래 교육의 방향성을 모색하고자 기획된 것이다. 이에 2장에서는 AI의 개념을 살펴보는 동시에 단국대학교 교과목을 중심으로 AI 기반 교과 활용 연구를 진행하게 된 배경과 과정에 대한 논의를 병행하였다. 다음으로 3장에서는 <고전비평론> 수업 사례를 중심으로 논의를 구체화하였는데, 첫 번째로는 고전비평론 소논문 작성 과정에서의 D-ESK 활용 양상을 고찰하였다. 기본적으로 방법적인 측면에서 D-ESK 서비스 활용한 EduAI 기반 강의의 가능성을 모색하였으며, 교수자가 주차별로 시스템에서 연구 토픽(Topic)을 등록·관리하고 RISS에 탑재된 연구 논문을 제공한 과정을 공유하였다. 이에 결과물 측면에서 EduAI 플랫폼을 통해 학습자가 편리하게 지식·정보를 수집함으로써 총 39편의 소논문을 완성하였음을 밝혔다. 두 번째로는 Chat GPT와 DaQ를 활용한 지식축적 및 공유 양상에 대하여 논의하였다. AI 기반 <고전비평론> 교과목 운영에서는 Chat GPT와 DaQ를 활용하여 학습자 간의 답변을 유도하는 동시에 교수자가 직접 답변 서비스를 제공하도록 설계하고 운영하였음을 밝혔다. 이 작업은 현재의 생성형 AI가 보여주는 가능성과 한계점을 동시에 보여준다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

This article is designed to explore the possibility of AI-based university major education and to explore the direction of future education, focusing on the case of Dankook University’s <Classical Korean Literary Criticism> course in the current digital-oriented era. Accordingly, the concept of AI is first examined and the background and process of conducting research are discussed on the use of AI-based education centering on Dankook University subjects. Next, discussion focuses on the case of the course <Classical Korean Literary Criticism>, where the use of D-ESK in the process of writing a thesis on classical criticism is first examined. Basically, in terms of method, the possibility of EduAI-based lectures using D-ESK services is explored, for which the instructor registers and manages research topics in the system each week and shares the process of providing research papers mounted on the RISS (Research Information Sharing Service). In terms of the results, it is first revealed that a total of 39 thesis papers were completed by conveniently collecting knowledge·information through the EduAI platform. Second, knowledge accumulation and sharing aspects using Chat GPT and DaQ are discussed. From the operation of the AI-based <Classical Korean Literary Criticism> course, Chat GPT and DaQ were found to be used to induce answers between learners and to provide answer services directly by instructors. This work is meaningful in that it shows the possibilities and limitations of current generative AI models at the same time.
