기업 대표의 회복 탄력성과 사회적 지지가 폐업 후 삶의 질 및 재창업의지에 미치는 영향

The Impact of CEO’s Resilience, Social Support on Post-Closure Quality of Life and Re-Start Business Intention

매해 많은 기업이 새로운 사업 기회를 찾아 창업하고 있지만, 창업 5년 후 기업 생존율은 30% 정도이다. 정부는 다양한 정책들을 통하여 창업 기업을 지원하기 위하여 체계적으로 노력하고 있지만 창업 후 실패한 기업에 대한 지원과 연구는 많은 보완점이 필요한 상황이다. 매년 70만개 기업이 폐업하는 상황에서 사업을 하다가 어려움을 겪어 더 이상 사업을 영위할 수 없는 기업인들의 경험과 역량을 사회적 자산으로 활용 할 수 있는 문화와 정책, 사회적 인식이 형성되어야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 폐업 후 재창업의 의지를 가지고 정부의 재창업 지원 과제에 지원한 대표와, 폐업 후 손실 등의 이유로 재창업을 할 수 있는 여건을 갖추지 못 한 기업인들을 대상으로 어떠한 요인들이 폐업을 경험한 기업 대표들의 삶의 질과 재창업 의지에 영향을 미치는 지 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 사업 실패로 겪는 비재무적 손실은 회복 탄력성과 사회적 지지에 악영향을 미치며 이는 삶의 질과 재창업 의지의 저하로 이어지는 것으로 나타났다. 창업 실패자들에 대한 정부의 기존 지원 정책은 폐업 기업 대표가 겪는 재무적 손실에 대한 회복에 주안점을 두어왔다. 본 연구는 폐업을 경험한 기업 대표의 삶의 질 향상과 재창업 의지의 증대를 위하여 비재무적 손실로 인한 회복탄력성과 사회적 지지의 감소가 삶의 질과 재창업 의지를 약화 시키지 않도록 지원 정책을 수립하고 사회적 지원을 활성화 하여야 할 필요성을 보여준다.

Every year, numerous businesses seek new entrepreneurial opportunities, yet the survival rate of businesses five years after establishment is around 30%. Despite the government's efforts through various policies to support startup businesses, considerable areas require improvement in support and research for failed startups. This study analyzes the factors influencing the quality of life and willingness to restart businesses that experienced business closures. The analysis revealed that non-financial losses experienced due to business failure negatively impact resilience in recovery and social support, leading to a decline in quality of life and the desire to restart. Existing government support policies for entrepreneurs who faced business closure primarily concentrated on recovering financial losses. This study underscores the necessity of formulating support policies and activating social support that do not undermine the quality of life and willingness to restart due to reduced resilience in non-financial recovery and diminished social support among entrepreneurs who underwent business closure.
