대학생 대상 참여형 경제교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구

The Study on the Development of Economic Education Programs For College Students: Focusing on Project-Based Learning Methods

본 연구는 대학생에게 맞는 경제교육 주제를 프로젝트학습 기반 프로그램을 통해 학습할 수 있는 교육 컨텐츠를 개발함으로써 대학생들이 경제생활에서 직면하는 의사결정 상황에서 올바른 판단을 내리는데 도움이 되고 문제해결 역량을 강화할 수 있는 학습 프로그램을 제안하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 생애주기별로 중요한 경제교육 주제의 도출을 바탕으로 대학생의 경제교육에 필요한 내용을 검증하고 이를 바탕으로 사회적, 경제적 활동을 시작하는 대학생 생애주기의 학습자들에게 효과적인 경제교육을 제공하는데 의의가 있다. 먼저 대학생 대상의 경제교육 목표와 교육체계를 구축하고 이를 달성하기 위한 프로젝트학습 경제교육 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 둘째, 이에 대해 전문가의 자문을 구하는 타당화 작업을 진행하고 파일럿 테스트를 진행하여 교육 프로그램을 확정하였다. 셋째, 개발된 대학생 대상의 프로젝트학습 경제교육 프로그램을 바탕으로 교육목표에 맞는 두 가지 프로젝트학습 경제교육 프로그램을 추가로 개발하였다. 넷째, 마찬가지로 이에 대해 전문가의 자문을 구하는 타당화 작업을 수행하고 실제 대학생에게 경제교육 시범운영을 하여 프로그램을 수정 보완하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 대학생 생애주기의 프로젝트학습 기반 프로그램의 주요 주제인 저축과 자산관리 및 성인으로서 자기주도적인 경제생활 안정화를 바탕으로 세부 교육 주제를 제시하고 이를 학습하고 함양하기 위한 프로그램을 개발함으로서 이 시기에 주요하게 학습해야 하는 경제교육의 내용을 제시하였다. 이는 다른 연구자와 교육자들에게 추가적 경제교육 프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 기반이 되면서 학습자들에게는 효과적으로 시기에 맞는 경제역량을 함양할 수 있는 의의를 가질 수 있다.

This study develops educational content that allows college students to learn economic education topics suitable for college students through a project-based learning program, which helps college students make correct judgments in decision-making situations they face in economic life and strengthens their problem-solving capabilities. The goal is to propose a learning program based on the derivation of important economic education topics for each life cycle. It is meaningful to verify the content needed for economic education for college students and to provide effective economic education to learners in the college student life cycle who begin social and economic activities. First, we established economic education goals and educational systems for college students and developed a project-based learning economic education program to achieve them. Second, validation work was conducted to seek advice from experts, and a pilot test was conducted to confirm the educational program. Third, based on the developed project-based learning economics education program for college students, two additional project-based learning economics education programs that fit the educational goals were developed. Fourth, the program was revised and supplemented by conducting validation work to seek advice from experts and conducting a economic education program with actual college students. As a result of this study, detailed educational topics were presented based on the main topics of the project-based learning program in the college student life cycle, such as savings and asset management and stabilization of self-directed economic life as an adult, and a program was developed to learn and cultivate these topics. The content of economic education that should be majorly studied during this period was presented. This can serve as a foundation for other researchers and educators to develop additional economic education programs, and can be meaningful in helping learners effectively develop economic competencies appropriate for the time.
