발달장애인의 직무만족이 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향

The impact of job satisfaction on life satisfaction in people with developmental disability: the mediating effect of self-esteem

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 발달장애인의 직무만족이 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 직무만족과 삶의 만족 간의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구방법: ｢2022년 발달장애인의 일과 삶｣ 데이터를 사용하였으며 현재 취업상태인 응답자 중 결측치를 제외한 총 372명의 자료를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 26.0을 이용하여 기술통계분석, 상관분석을 실시하였고 SPSS PROCESS macro 4번 모델을 이용하여 매개효과의 유의성 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 발달장애인의 직무만족은 삶의 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 발달장애인의 자아존중감은 직무만족과 삶의 만족을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 발달장애인의 삶의 만족과 심리적 건강에 영향을 미치는 직무 만족을 높이고 나아가 고용의 질적 수준 향상을 위한 발달장애인의 고용 지원 정책의 필요성을 제안하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job satisfaction on life satisfaction among people with developmental disabilities and to test the mediating effect of self-esteem on the relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction. Method: Data from “Work and Life of People with Developmental Disabilities in 2022” were used, and a total of 372 respondents who were currently employed, excluding missing data, were used for the final analysis. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, the significance of the mediating effect was tested using SPSS PROCESS macro model 4. Results: First, job satisfaction of people with developmental disabilities has a significant effect on life satisfaction. Second, self-esteem of people with developmental disabilities mediates the relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction. Conclusion: Based on these findings, we suggest the need for employment support policies for people with developmental disabilities to increase their job satisfaction, which affects their life satisfaction and psychological health, and to improve the quality of their employment.
