Exploring the educational authority of parents and teachers: Focusing on Ahn’s Family precepts ‘filial piety and strict’

The purpose of this paper is to explore the educational roles of parents and teachers based on Ahn's family precepts. Parents nurture and educate their children. According to Ahn Ji-chu, education requires not only love but also rigor. Also, Ahn emphasized that someone to objectively teach our children because parents have too much love and have difficulty in education. Both parents and teachers should be filial piety and strict. Since both parents and teachers are in charge of education during the decisive development of children, it is necessary to educate children with educational authority in order for them to become self-reliant.
