일정한 압력을 갖는 Spring Gause 기술을 사용한 중간볼기근의 두께 측정에 대한 평가자 내 및 평가자 간 신뢰도

The study purpose is to determine intra- and inter-rater reliability for measurement of thickness of the gluteus medius muscle using ultrasound (US) performed under different internal pressures (approximately 0.5kg, 1.0kg) and without pressure control. For this study, 18 healthy participants were recruited. Two different raters randomly measured the thickness of the gluteus medius on the dominant side of each participant, and intra- and inter-rater reliability were assessed. The measurements were analyzed using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICCs). Intra-rater reliability ICC values showed high reliability, all above 0.8. Inter-rater reliability ICC values demonstrated high reliability (above 0.8) at internal pressures of 0.5kg and 1.0kg. However, inter-rater reliability ICC value indicated lower reliability (0.53) when pressure control was not applied. In conclusion, the study suggests that maintaining consistent internal pressure is essential to obtain reliable results when various raters measure the thickness of the gluteus medius in a clinical setting.
