Exploring the Implications of South Korea's Higher Arts Education Success for China

As globalization and cultural exchange deepen, the development and experiences of China and South Korea in the realm of art education have emerged as a significant subject of research. This study seeks to examine the progression of higher art education in South Korea, as well as to draw upon its experiences, through a comparative lens with China. By delineating the historical contexts and current states of art education in both countries, this paper highlights the disparities in art education philosophies, curriculum configurations, and pedagogical approaches. Utilizing a case study approach, this research analyzes representative higher art education institutions in South Korea to pinpoint the reasons for their successes and the insights they offer. Ultimately, the paper offers recommendations for the adoption and reference of South Korean art education practices in the Chinese context. This study concludes that South Korea’s advancement in higher art education has been bolstered by its distinctive cultural heritage, policy patronage, and innovative educational paradigms. These findings underscore the importance and relevance of South Korean art education experiences for their application in China’s higher art education landscape.

随着全球化和文化交流的加深,中韩两国在艺术教育领域的发展和经验借鉴成为了一个重要的研究议题。本研究旨在探讨中韩比较视域下韩国高等艺术教育的发展及其经验借鉴。通过对中韩两国艺术教育的历史背景和发展现状进行比较分析,揭示了两国在艺术教育理念、课程设置、教学方法等方面的差异。采用案例研究法,选取了韩国具有代表性的高等艺术教育机构进行分析,探讨了其成功的原因和经验。最终结合中国的实际情况,提出了韩国艺术教育经验在中国的借鉴和应用建议。本研究结论认为,韩国高等艺术教育的发展得益于其独特的文化传统、政策支持和创新的教育理念。这些经验对于中国高等艺术教育的发展具有重要的启示和借鉴意义。
