한국어 학습자를 위한 정도부사 교육 내용 연구

A Study on the Instructional Content of Degree Adverbs for Korean Language Learners: Approach of Sentiment Analysis

목적: 본 연구는 한국어 학습자를 위한 정도부사 교육 내용을 선정하는 데 필요한 자료를 구축하는 것을 일차적 목적으로 한다. 나아가 정도부사 교육을 위한 교육 내용을 제안하는 것을 궁극적 목적으로 삼는다. 방법: 이에 본 연구는 감성분석의 접근법을 활용하여 정도부사의 정도성을 확인하였다. 한국어 모어 화자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 설문 내용은 서술어가 정도부사에 따라 그 의미가 얼마나 강화되는지를 일정 구간 안에서 선택하도록 하였다. 결과: 그 결과, 교육적인 관점에서 정도성에 따라 정도부사를 다섯 등급으로 나눌 수 있었다. 결론: 이상의 결과를 정도부사의 교육 내용을 개발할 때 활용한다면 대안적이기는 하나 정도부사가 가지는 정도의 차이를 일정한 기준에 따라 제시하는 것이 가능할 것이다. 물론 이러한 기준은 교육적 관점에서 학습자들이 각각의 정도부사들을 보다 수월하게 구분하여 학습할 수 있도록 하기 위한 임시방편일 뿐 절대적인 척도의 제시로는 볼 수 없다. 다만 앞으로 한국어 학습자들이 한국어 정도부사의 정도성을 해석하고 구사하는 데 있어 그 안목을 키우는 데 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Purpose: The primary objective of this research is to construct data necessary for selecting curriculum content for degree adverbs instruction for Korean language learners. Moreover, it ultimately aims to propose educational content for degree adverbs instruction. Methods: This study verified the degree of degree adverbs using the approach of sentiment analysis. A survey was conducted targeting Korean native speakers, and the survey content was designed to select within a certain range how much the meaning of the predicate is intensified according to the degree adverb. Results: As a result of the survey analysis, from an educational perspective, degree adverbs could be divided into five grades based on the degree of intensity. Conclusion: If the results of the above experiment are utilized in developing educational content for degree adverbs, it would be possible to present the degree differences of degree adverbs according to a certain standard, albeit an alternative one. Of course, such a standard is merely a temporary measure to help learners more easily distinguish and learn each degree adverb from an educational perspective, and cannot be seen as an absolute scale. However, it is anticipated that it can be used as a tool to enhance the understanding and usage of the degree intensity of Korean degree adverbs by Korean language learners in the future.
