The purpose of this paper was to find the present situation of primary English education in Korea and its problems and to search some desirable approaches for our current primary English education. The research questions posed in this study were (1) Is the English education important? (2) Why is the English important? (3) Is the English Class interesting? The result showed that English is important, interesting and necessary for children. Three recommendations for implementation were (1) Improving teacher'`s hearing capability, (2) developing more practical teaching ways, and (3) making out more effective teaching aids and facilities. Further, it is recommended that Increasing classhours a week is very important for the students.
