ITPRA theory and its implications for music education practice

【背景】音乐教育的跨学科研究是当代音乐教育领域的重要课题之一。加拿大音乐心理学家大卫·休伦(David Huron)基于心理学、生理性、统计学以及音乐学所提出的以“IRPRA”模型为核心的综合性音乐期待理论为广大音乐教育参与者提供了一个全新的视角。 【目的】本文将以“ITPRA”模型为理论框架,探讨此理论模型对于实际音乐教与学活动的现实意义,在新的理论视阈中优化音乐教育中的实际操作。 【方法】利用文献研究法、案例分析法,整合相关理论并分析涉及音乐聆听、音乐演奏、教学法等要素在内的例子。 【结果】通过理论与实际案例的有机结合,设计多种音乐教学情景下的实际操作。 【结论】本文详细论述了“ITPRA”理论在音乐教育实践中宏观与围观层面的丰富应用可能性,并对未来该理论在音乐教育领域的进一步推进做出展望。

[Background] The interdisciplinary study of music education is one of the important topics in the field of contemporary music education. Based on psychology, physiology, statistics and musicology, David Huron, a Canadian music psychologist, proposed a comprehensive music expectation theory with “IRPRA” model as the core, which provides a new perspective for the majority of music education participants. [Objective] This paper will take the “ITPRA” model as the theoretical framework to discuss the practical significance of this theoretical model for actual music teaching and learning activities, and optimize the practical operation of music education in the new theoretical horizon. [Method] Literature research method and case analysis method were used to integrate relevant theories and analyze examples involving music listening, music performance, teaching methods and other elements. [Results] Through the organic combination of theory and practical cases, practical operations under various music teaching scenarios were designed. [Conclusion] This paper discusses in detail the rich application possibilities of “ITPRA” theory in the practice of music education at the macro and onlook-level, and looks forward to the further advancement of this theory in the field of music education in the future.
