두 여성의 데이트 성폭력 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

A Narrative Inquiry of Two Women Who Experienced the Dating Sexual Violence

본 연구는 데이트 성폭력을 경험한 두 여성의 삶의 경험과 그 의미를 이해하기 위하여 수행되었다. 데이트 성폭력에 대한 연구 참여자 개인의 삶의 경험을 파악하기 위하여 내러티브 탐구 방법을 적용하였다. 총 2명의 연구 참여자를 대상으로 심층 면담이 이루어졌으며, 심층면담은 각 참여자당 6~8회 진행되었다. 자료 수집 기간은 2021년 3월부터 8월까지였다. 자료수집 및 분석은 Clandinin과 Connelly가 제시한 ‘현장으로 들어가기’, ‘현장에서 현장텍스트로 이동하기’, ‘현장텍스트 작성하기’, ‘현장텍스트에서 연구텍스트로’, ‘연구텍스트 작성하기’의 다섯 단계에 따라 수행 되었다. 연구결과 데이트 성폭력 경험과 그 의미는 ‘가족: 문 열린 새장에 갇혀 사는 사람들’ ‘고독: 폭력보다 더 아픈 그것’ ‘폭력: 언어화 되지 못한 그러나 존재하는’ ‘흔적: 마음에 새겨진 상처’ ‘안정: 나로 살아가기’로 나타났다. 본 연구는 데이트 성폭력 경험을 개인의 내러티브를 통하여 깊이 있게 파악하였다는 점에서 의의를 가지며, 본 연구 결과는 데이트 성폭력 예방 교육 및 상담 개입을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 것이다.

This study was conducted to understand the life experiences and meanings of two women who experienced dating sexual violence. The narrative inquiry was used to understand the individual life experiences of dating sexual violence. In-depth interviews for six to eight times per each participant were conducted with two study participants, The data collection period was from March to August 2021. Data collection and analysis were carried out in five stages: “entering the field,” “moving from the field to the field text,” “writing the field text,” “from the field text to the research text,” and “writing the research text.” As a result of the study, the meanings of dating sexual violence were as follows; ‘Family: People who are trapped in an open cage’, ‘Loneliness: It Hurts more than violence’, ‘Violence: Unverbalized but existential’, ‘Trace: A scar on the heart,’ and ‘Stability: Living as me.’ This study is significant in that it has deeply grasped the experience of dating sexual violence through individual narratives. The results of this study will be used as basic data for education and counseling intervention in the prevention of dating sexual violence.
