Proposal of AI Convergence Teaching-Learning Method for High School Chinese Culture: Focusing on the Use of Image Acquisition Technology

본 연구는 고등학교 『중국 문화』 학습자를 대상으로 중국 음식 이미지 데이터를 활용하여 AI 융합 중국 문화 교수-학습 방안 제안을 목적으로 한다. AI 융합 중국 문화 수업은 ‘중국 문화 내용 학습, AI 학습 모델 생성, 이미지 인식 게임 만들기’라는 세 가지 단계별 학습을 통해 이루어진다. 첫 번째 단계에서 학습자는 교과서를 통해 중국 음식 문화를 학습하고 관련 이미지 데이터를 수집한다. 두 번째 단계에서 학습자는 조사한 이미지 데이터를 머신러닝 포 키즈(Machine Learning for Kids) 플랫폼을 통해 컴퓨터에 기계 학습시킨다. 세 번째 단계에서는 앞서 생성한 AI 학습 모델을 연동하여 SW 코딩 플랫폼인 스크래치(Scratch)에서 중국 음식 이미지 인식 프로젝트를 만든다. 이러한 활동을 통해 AI 융합 중국 문화교육에서 기대할 수 있는 효과는 먼저, 학습 환경의 관점에서 향후 AI 시대 중국어 교육의 상황을 예견해볼 수 있다. 다음으로 학습자의 관점에서 중국 문화에 대한 이해와 더불어 AI와 SW 융합 교육 활동을 통해 학습자의 글로벌 역량, 창의력, 사고력을 신장할 수 있다. 끝으로 교수자의 관점에서 향후 AI 기술을 활용한 교과교육이 확대되는 경우 교사가 어떤 역할을 해야 하는지 대비하고 준비할 수 있다.

This study proposed AI convergence Chinese cultural education through the creation of Chinese food culture and AI learning models. AI convergence Chinese culture education can directly and indirectly experience make learners learn Chinese culture using various media such as textbooks and Internet materials. First of all, AI-based platforms can be used to understand the concept of machine learning and to find out the characteristics of Chinese culture. Secondly the information learned on the SW education platform is reprocessed and applied in connection with other subjects based on the later period of Chinese culture. Thirdly the educational plan can evaluate the understanding of Chinese culture. It is expected that AI convergence Chinese cultural education can be used in various fields such as Chinese language subject content development and customized curriculum development in the future.
