고교 내신성적 산출 방법의 비교 및 개선 방안 연구

A study on the comparison and improvement of high school academic records methods

2025학년도부터 전면 시행되는 고교학점제에 어울리는 고교 내신성적 산출 방법은 성취평가제라고 할 수 있다. 하지만 교육부는 대입 현실을 고려하여 석차 5등 급과 성취평가를 병기하는 방안을 제시하고 국가교육위원회 의결을 통하여 최종 확정 하였다. 이러한 병기 방안은 교육적 이상과 현실의 균형을 유지하기 위한 잠정적 혹은 과도기적 성격을 띠고 있으므로 향후 고교 내신성적 산출 방법이 어떠해야 하는가에 대한 지속적 관심이 요청된다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 내신성적 산출 방안을 여러 교육 이해관계자에 대한 설문 및 FGI를 통해 비교하고 각각의 장단점 및 함의를 살펴보았 다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 고교 내신성적 산출의 개선 방안을 모색하기 위한 방향성및 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

Starting from the 2025 academic year, the high school credit system is being implemented, and it can be said that the method of calculating high school academic records for this system is the achievement assessment system. However, the Ministry of Education has proposed a plan to combine relative and absolute evaluations, considering college admissions realities, and finalized it through the resolution of the National Education Commission. Since this combined approach possesses a provisional or transitional nature in maintaining a balance between educational ideals and reality, continuous interest is requested regarding what should be the future direction of high school academic grade calculation. In this study, various methods were compared via surveys and focus group interviews with educational stakeholders, exploring their individual strengths, weaknesses, and implications. Additionally, based on this analysis, recommendations for improving the calculation of high school academic records were proposed, along with suggestions for follow-up research.
