The aim of this study is to understand the foundation of stability experienced by the researcher through repetitive actions in the process of working with the coiling molding technique. Additionally, the objective is to convey the sense of stability achieved through repetitive actions to observers as visual stability. Repetitive forms were used as decorative elements in the field of art before the 20th century. However, since the 20th century, repetitive forms have been utilized as a means for artists to convey their intentions to observers and as a key element in artworks designed to provide visual pleasure to viewers. Through various examples of artworks utilizing repetitive forms in the 20th century, various forms of repetition and their visual effects were analyzed. Based on an investigation into the impact of repetitive bodily movements and resulting psychological repetition on stability, the principles of immersion and stability experienced in the process of creating works using the coiling molding technique were elucidated. Additionally, suitable repetitive compositions for conveying visual stability to observers were derived based on the examination of the relationship between repetitive forms and stability. As a result, technique of patterning the repetitive hand imprints formed on the surface during the coiling molding technique process, and repeating units of the same shape were derived and applied to furniture designs.
