Path to Sustainable Development of College Japanese Course : An Empirical Study Based on Blended Learning

Along with the strengthening of globalization trend, the concern of the education sector for the sustainable development of higher education is gradually heating up. The foreign language education in colleges and universities represented by College Japanese has long been suffering from such problems as backward teaching concepts and teaching modes, outdated content of teaching resources, and imperfect assessment system, which affects the sustainable development of the course itself and talent cultivation. Aiming at the above problems, a blended teaching mode based on sustainable development goals was constructed and a one-year teaching practice was carried out. The results of the questionnaire survey and performance analysis show that the blended teaching mode is significantly better than the traditional teaching mode in improving students’ classroom satisfaction, interest and demand satisfaction, learning motivation, classroom participation, learning motivation continuity, learning interest, and teacher-student relationship, etc. At the same time, it significantly improves the students’ language application ability, which provides an empirical reference for the sustainable development of foreign language education in colleges and universities.
