김금원의 自己認識과 自己愛 실현에 대한 고찰

A study on Kim Keum-won's self-awareness and realization of self-love

본 연구는 김금원(金錦園)과 그녀의 문집에 나타난 自意識과 주체적 의식의 표출을 자 기애(自己愛)적 관점에서 살펴보려는 데 그 취지가 있다. 김금원은 생몰년도가 정확하지 는 않지만 1817년에 태어나 어린 나이에 전국 유람을 하고 이를 엮은 견문집인 를 편찬하기도 하였다. 그리고 여성들만의 詩壇을 결성하여 다양한 창작활동을 통 해 이들과 교유함으로서 그 존재성을 인정받고자 한 인물이다. 그간 알려진 김금원에 대 한 연구는 대부분 주체적으로 여성 자의식을 실현한 인물로 이루어져 온 것이 사실이다. 연구 성과뿐만 아니라 실제로 그녀가 보여준 여러 행적들과 그녀가 이룩한 문학적 업적 등은 이를 잘 뒷받침해준다. 특히 남성들 중심의 詩壇이 주류였던 당시에 여성들만으로 이루어진 모임을 만들어 문학 활동을 한 것은 매우 주체적이면서도 자신의 문학에 대한 정체성을 분명하게 드러내고자 하는 의도라고 여겨진다. 또한 자신의 여행 기록과 작품 들이 흩어질 것을 염려하여 이들을 모아 스스로 를 발간한 점을 미루어 자 신의 작품들에 대한 자긍심이 남달랐다고 할 수 있다. 이렇듯 도전적이고 적극적인 활동 의 기저에는 금원의 자기애를 포착할 수 있는 정황들이 곳곳에서 드러난다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the expression of self-consciousness and subjective consciousness in Kim Keum-won and her collections of works from a narcissistic point of view. Kim Geum-won was born in 1817, although the exact year of his birth and death is not known. And he is a person who wanted to be recognized for his existence by forming a poetry group only for women and interacting with them through various creative activities. It is true that most of the known studies on Kim Keum-won have been conducted as a person who realized female self-consciousness independently. Not only the research achievements, but also the various achievements she actually showed and the literary achievements she achieved support this well. In particular, at the time when male-centered poetries were the mainstream, it is considered that it was an intention to clearly reveal one's own identity in literature while being very subjective to form a group composed of only women and engage in literary activities. In addition, it can be said that he was very proud of his works, considering that he collected them and published himself, fearing that his travel records and works would be scattered. At the base of such challenging and active activities, circumstances that can capture Keumwon's narcissism are revealed everywhere. This study aims to identify and examine Keum-Won's expression of pride and confidence in herself from the perspective of ‘narcissism’ beyond the simple frame of the owner of a generous and enterprising personality. In this process, the limitations of Geumwon are also revealed. However, it should be noted that Kim Keum-won did not intend to deny all of the literary or world views that formed her own and female identity. I just want to clarify that I want to approach and discuss the process and method of recognizing her own self from a psychological point of view.
