함안 아라가야 고분의 봉토분 유형과 수장집단에 대한 연구

A Study on the Type of Burial Mound and the Group of the Head of Ancient Tombs in Aragaya in Haman

이 글의 목적은 아라가야의 함안 말이산고분군과 남문외고분군의 봉토 축조공법을 분석하여 아라가야 봉토분의 봉토 축조공법 유형을 파악하고 이에 따른 수장집단의 신분질서를 파악하는 것에 있다. 함안 말이산고분군 주능선과 가지능선, 남문외고분군의 주능선을 따라 봉토분과 묘가 밀집하여 있다. 봉토분은 19기가 발굴 조사되었다. 봉토조사가 면밀히 진행된 봉토분은 13기이며, 함안 말이산 4호분은 수혈식석곽묘 단계 고총 봉토분 중 가장 이른 고분으로 자료가 부족하여 사진자료도 분석하여 총 14기를 연구대상으로 정하였다. 봉토의 축조공법 중에서 암반대 삭출공법과 토제 성토공법, 구획성토공법을 분석하여 봉토분을 3가지의 유형으로 나누었다. A유형은 암반대 삭출공법을 통해 봉토를 고대화한 유형으로 입지에 따라 능선 정상부의 A-1유형과 능선 사면부의 A-2유형으로 세분하였다. B유형은 암반대 삭출공법과 토제 성토공법, 구획성토공법을모두 사용하여 봉토를 성토한 유형이다. 암반대 삭출공법의 적용정도에 따라, 고암반대 삭출공법이 사용한 B-1 유형과 저암반대 삭출공법이 사용된 B-2유형으로 세분하였다. C유형은 매장주체부가 지상화되면서 봉토 축조공법이 변화하게 되었다. 토제 성토공법의 사용이 감소하는 반면, 구획성토공법은 더 많이 사용되었다. 이 연구에서는 봉토 축조공법의 유형, 봉토분의 입지, 매장주체부의 내부 구조 및 부장 양상, 그리고 문헌자료 등을 통해 수장 집단의 위계를 계층화하였다.

The purpose of this article is to restore the changed image of the Aragaya Tombs by analyzing the construction method of the Haman Malisan Ancient Tombs and Nammunoi Ancient Tombs, the royal tombs of Aragaya. The construction method of the silt was divided into three types by analyzing three methods: the anti-rock extraction method, the levee construction method, and the compartment construction method. Type A is a type in which the anti-rock extraction method is usually used, and the levee construction method and the compartment construction method are not used. Type A is divided into Type A-1 and Type A-2 depending on the location of the tomb. Type B was subdivided into Type B-1 and Type B-2 according to the degree of application of the levee construction method. The levee construction method is used on the outer edge of the levee, and the soil is built using the compartment construction method inside the levee. In Type C, the use of soil construction method is reduced on the outer edge of the levee, but the compartmentalization construction method is still used. Aragaya appears to be divided in the order of the head group according to the type of tombs.
