본 연구는 최근 개정된 국내 입양 특별법과 입양의 역사와 연관 지어, 입양당사자 ‘그들은 누구인가’라는 삶의 근원적 물음에 단초를 제공하는 ‘호모 사케르’라는 개념을 통해 인간으로서 삶의 소중한 가치 연구에 천착한다. 이를 위해 본 연구자는 우선 입양의 문제를 호모 사케르의 개념으로 살펴보고, 이후 우니 르콩트 감독의 자전적 영화인 <여행자> 내러티브 분석을 통해 영화가 지향하는 바가 무엇인지 그리고 입양당사자가 짊어진 삶의 무게를 느껴보고자 한다. 이러한 연구는 입양에 대한 인식 개선과 사회적 포용을 촉진하는 데 이바지할 것이라고 기대한다.
This study studies the precious value of life as a human being through the concept of ‘Homo Sacer’, which provides a clue to the fundamental question of life of adoptees, ‘Who are they?’ in connection with the recently revised special law on domestic adoption and the history of adoption. Focus on To this end, this researcher first examines the issue of adoption through the concept of homo sacer, and then analyzes the narrative of director Uni Lecomte's autobiographical film <A Brand New Life> to determine what the film aims for and the weight of life borne by the adoptive party. I want to feel it. We expect that this research will contribute to improving awareness of adoption and promoting social inclusion.
