This paper examined the development strategy of cultural tourism resources through a case study of 'Strasse der Romanik in Sachsen-Anhalit, Germany' and with this study, attempts to graft the suggestive points on the development of local cultural tourism in Korea. A tourism theme street connects linearly a series of places and spots each other so as to admit effective Merchandising of cultural tourism resource by regional groups. As a result, a new cultural tourism zone will be formed, and a series of extra tourism demands will be created. Therefore, the setting of a cultural theme street grows into a important factor for the development strategy of local culture in a country.
