대구의 초창기 일본어 신문과 『조선시보』 ｢경북판｣·｢지방판｣의 양상

The Study on the Earliest Japanese Newspapers in Daegu and the Pattern of the “Gyeongbuk Edition” and “Local Edition” of the 『Joseon Times』

大邱は20世紀初めに日露戦争とかみ合った近代鉄道の出現, 鉄道に乗って津波のように押し寄せた日本人、押し寄せた日本人の必要による邑城の解体と近代道路の出現といった急激な変化とともに、新聞と雑誌を媒介にそれ以前とは全く違う歴史·社会·文化の環境の中に置かれることになる。このような脈絡で,20世紀以後の大邱を新聞·雑誌を含む近代メディアを媒介に研究し理解する作業は有効で必要だ。さらに、現在の地域単位の関連研究が格段に不足している状況であるため研究の意味が大きい。 そこで本論文は中長期研究の出発点にあたる20世紀初めの大邱の日本語新聞とそれを取り巻く人的ネットワークを調べるとともに、現存する実物日本語新聞資料に基づき,20世紀初めの大邱状況を研究する際に必ず検討しなければならない『朝鮮時報』の｢慶北版｣と｢地方版｣紙面の全体的な様相と特徴を把握した。これにより大邱の初期の日本語新聞が植民地期の新聞歴史全体において重要な人物間のネットワークの中で創刊されたことと、現存する『朝鮮時報』の｢慶北版｣と｢地方版｣の内容と発行時期は、グローカルな観点から把握すべきことの多い時期であることが確認できた。

Daegu was placed in a completely different historical, social and cultural environment through newspapers and magazines, along with the emergence of modern railways, tsunami-like Japanese riding on railways, dismantling towns and roads due to the need of Japanese. In this context, it is effective and necessary to study and understand Daegu after the 20th century through modern media including newspapers and magazines. Furthermore, research is significant because there is a significant shortage of research related to regional units at present. Therefore, this paper investigates the Japanese newspapers of Daegu in the early 20th century and the human network surrounding them. Based on existing Japanese newspaper data, it identifies the overall aspects and characteristics of ‘Gyeongbuk edition’ and ‘local edition’ of ‘Joseon Times’. This confirms that Daegu’s early Japanese newspapers were founded in a network of important figures throughout the history of colonial newspapers, and that the contents and timing of the existing “Gyeongbuk” and “Local” editions of “Joseon Times” are a period to be understood from a global perspective.
