Tea is the beverage of mental and physical discipline and can be a sign of starting a new area of space for enjoying tea. Therefore, the class who enjoyed tea were mainly writers and artists with high knowledge for poem, painting and flowering plant and esthetic sense. As human beings had a rational judgement, they also had a strong desire for expressing themselves to relieve their fatigue from physical activities through leisure, which led to the construction of garden. Garden or pavilion is a special place which is clearly distinguished from that of escape, dream, freedom and fantasy without sowing and harvesting, and summer and winter, and it has been developed to dynamic and static space with unique culture showing artistic beauty by encouraging human imagination. Flower on tea table was originated in making a miniature of nature such as making small garden with potted flowers, plants and scenery, vase flower and Ramhwa on a part of yard. Therefore, this study is to examine the introduction route of flowers on tea table and change process of flowers on tea table shown in space for enjoying tea by writers and artists in the age of Joseon Dynasty with their mental and physical training.
