A Study on the Difference between Western Entrepreneurship and K-Entrepreneurship

Purpose: Looking at Korea's economic growth and corporate development process, something unusual has been discovered. We focused on K(Korea)-entrepreneurship influencing the Korean miracle economic development. K-entrepreneurship which is distinct from Western entrepreneurship, has recently been attracting attention. Therefore, we aim to explore the difference between Western entrepreneurship and K-entrepreneurship. Method: This study project used a qualitative approach consisting of literature review and document analysis. The literature review consists of a comprehensive assessment of scholarly academic publications from competing perspectives in the fields of business management, public administration, and international relations. Results: We suggested that the differences between Western entrepreneurship and K-entrepreneurship. The results of this study should be supplemented by quantitative and qualitative studies in the future. Conclusion: This study investigated the difference on entrepreneurship of two cultural region of the world. Based on the results, we suggested several academic and practical implications.
