디지털 인문학의 관점에서 바라본 청강 김영훈 진료기록의 연구적 가치에 관한 소고

A Study on the Research Value of Kim Young-hoon's Medical Records from the Perspective of Digital Humanities

과학기술분야의 디지털기술의 발달, 그리고 사이버세계의 확대로 인해서 인문학도 그 혜택을 받아서 현재는 ‘디지털인문학’이라는 새로운 학문영역이 등장하였다. 인문학사료를 디지털화하면서 다른 인문학사료들과 디지털로 연결되고 그로 인해서 기존의 인문학에서는 상상할 수 없는 방대한 데이터들이 만들어지고, 동시에 이것을 활용하는 기술도 개발되면서 인문학의 영역이 확장되었다. 본고는 1914년부터 1974년까지 김영훈이 진료한 진료기록을 디지털인문학의 관점에서 다시 조명한 연구이다. 본고에서는 디지털인문학의 환경에서 김영훈진료기록이 갖는 확장성에 대해서 논의하였고, 동시에 개인정보로서의 진료기록의 공개여부에 대해서도 논의하였다.

With the development of digital technology and the expansion of the cyber world, the humanities have benefited resulting in the emergence of a new academic discipline known as “digital humanities”. By digitizing records of objects in the humanities, they become interconnected with other digital records, leading to the creation of vast amounts of data that were unimaginable in traditional humanities. Simultaneously, technologies that utilize this data have been developed, thus expanding the realm of the humanities. This paper reexamines the medical records of Kim Young-hoon (1882-1974), who practiced from 1914 to 1974, from the perspective of digital humanities. This study discusses the expandability of Kim Young-hoon’s medical records in the context of digital humanities and also addresses the issue of whether these records should be disclosed as personal information.
