The Middle Route of Ngari Area Riding

These are photos taken on a bicycle ride along the middle Route of Ngari Area in Tibet (south of the G317 BanGe County - XiongBa County section). The so-called Ngari middle Route is not strictly divided, roughly passing through Nima County, WenBuNan Village, CuoQin County, PaJiang Township, RenDuo Township, and YaRe Township in NaKcua Area and Ngari Area. The whole of the altitude of more than four thousand meters above the sea leve, along the way need to cross numerous grasslands, wasteland, sand and gravel, etc., need to pass through the no man's land, no cell phone signals, most of the road is unpaved, rutted, in this area you can see the true meaning of wildlife, such as the Tibetan antelope, eland, Tibetan wild ass, but also in the name of a dozen or more lakes of all sizes. One day, we stayed in a herdsman's house, they do not speak Mandarin, our communication is like a game of “draw something”. The next morning, when we was about to leave, I found that the man was sitting in front of the house, which was full of sheep dung, and was really “wool-gathering”( 薅羊毛 ), while the woman was milking the sheep. In Chinese, “ 薅羊毛 ” means to get the best deal, but literally means “to collect wool”.

这些照片是沿着西藏阿里中线(G317 班戈县- 雄巴县段以南)骑行时拍摄的。所谓阿里中线并没有严格划分，大致途经那曲地区和阿里地区的尼玛县、文部南村、措勤县、帕江乡、仁多乡、亚热乡。整体海拔在四千米以上, 一路上需要跨越许多草原, 荒地, 沙子和砾石, 等等, 需要穿过无人区, 这里没有手机信号, 大部分的路都是非铺装路面，在这一阿里腹地我们可以看到真正意义上的野生动物, 如藏羚羊, 羚羊, 藏野驴等, 而且有十多个大大小小的湖泊。有一天，我们住在一个牧民家里，他们不会说普通话，我们的交流就像“你画我猜”的游戏。第二天早上，当我们准备离开的时候，我发现那个男人正坐在满是羊粪的房子前面，真正地在“薅羊毛”( 薅羊毛)，而那个女人正在挤羊奶。在中文中，“薅羊毛”的意思是买到最便宜的东西，但字面意思是“收集羊毛”（to collect wool）。
