Higher education is an important part of social development, and the equity of its resource allocation directly affects social harmony and progress, in China. This article aims to explore the issue of equity in the allocation of higher education resources, analyze the existing resource allocation mechanism and its impact, and put forward suggestions for improving the equity of resource allocation, in order to provide a reference for achieving educational equity.
